Pursue your healing

Pursue your healing

Mark 3:10 NKJV For He healed many, so that as many as had afflictions pressed about Him to touch Him. Jesus healed those who reached out and pressed into Him for their healing! The leper, the women with the issue of blood and blind Bartimaeus. They recognised that the Lord was willing, compassionate and ready to heal them. Healing can be pursued and must be pursued. We need to recognise the physical need and pray and seek the power of the Holy Spirit to heal us. Knowing it’s not our power, it’s the Lord’s virtue. It’s God’s goodness that flows from the Lord Himself! So, if you know the Lord and you are His son or daughter then healing is the children’s bread (yours). It belongs to you and me. We need to receive it and walk in it. We don’t have to attain it with our mental ability or stress, we just go to the Lord and receive it from Him, our maker! Knowing He is willing and it is His desire to make us whole. This is the basis on which we begin to pursue the Lord, knowing that He wants us to be healed and made whole. Jesus’s death on the cross and the gospel that we preach is not to enjoy benefits after a while or after we have gone to heaven. It’s here and now! Jesus died so that you and I can enjoy all the benefits His blood bought us now on earth. Don’t let another day pass by thinking it’s all for the future. Faith in the gospel is for the manifested things of God for now. Because Jesus is alive and the Holy Spirit is with us now. You can have your healing! So let’s ask and pursue the Lord by knowing it’s your birthright and it’s what Jesus bought on the Cross for us. As a son and daughter of God, we need to pursue it. Believing in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, that He has already qualified us and it’s not by our own merits but by His mercy and goodness on the cross!  ...

Dream Again…

Dream Again…

The last two years have been more than challenging. Pain can keep the real you down. It did it to me. The pain made me shut down. It silenced me. But God reminded me today “Dream Again” It’s a scary thing to know that God’s dreams for you can go unfulfilled if you choose so. You can sit still and let life pass by, or you can pick up your sword and fight the good fight. This day I said I will dream again. The life of Elijah has been speaking to me more and more these past two years. In him I see a promise and purpose for his life, and in him I also see pain silencing the dream. Pain that made him give up half way through. Three years he lived, first by the brook Cherith until it dried up, then by the meagre savings of a widow. What if he gave up when the brook dried up? What if he gave up when the rain didn’t come? Three years is a long time to live through a famine, but in the end, God used those three years to make it known to the whole nation that He is God in Israel (1 Kings 18:36). Let not pain keep you down. Let not disappointment keep you from the continuing the journey. Let not the devil steal, kill and destroy your destiny. Dream...

When We Get That “Plan B” itch

When We Get That “Plan B” itch

No wonder Sarah thought of plan B.   She got frustrated waiting for plan A. But we all know how that turned out; yes God was faithful and made sure His plan A did come to pass, but Sarah, she had to deal with the results of her own Plan B; something none of us want in our lives; an Ishmael. So what do we do when we feel that “Plan B” itch?  When the breakthrough has been on its way for far too long. We do what Hannah did: “ she continued praying before the Lord” (1 Samuel 1:12) The bible tells us that each year she kept going up to worship the Lord with her husband and her provoker, Penninah by her side, and of course Peninnah’s many sons and daughters. When you think of Peninnah’s many sons and daughters, you realize that Hannah’s wait wasn’t just one or two years; it was many. And yet, for many years she persisted. She didn’t give up. All breakthroughs are good. But a breakthrough on our own terms and our own time may not be.  When I picture breakthrough I imagine a chick breaking through an egg.  Finally free. What if that breakthrough comes before the chick can survive, then it’s not a good thing at all. This is where we learn the art of waiting. Just like Hannah. She didn’t give up, when really, she could have decided, I had enough of praying the same prayer year after year; yet she persisted. Holy Spirit help us to be persistent. To never give up. Help us to always “continue praying before the Lord”. Give us supernatural joy during the wait.  Help us not give up during the wait. And help us to never go our own way during the wait. We are all waiting for something.  Trust God during your wait. Trust His time for your breakthrough. But in the meantime, PRAY! Oh and let’s not forget, her persistence had a reward; God gave her a Samuel, imagine what He has planned for you!  I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. (Psalm...

When You Believe Through the Pain

When You Believe Through the Pain

There are days the pain doesn’t make sense. Then the day arrives when the tears of pain become tears of joy. When the church in Bangalore was planted, it wasn’t planted in a season of rejoicing, but a season of pain. The little plant didn’t make sense to many people, and we ourselves had our doubts. Almost ten months later we saw a beautiful fruit; the first wedding from the church. And that wedding, much like the planting of the church was both rejoicing and pain. Rejoicing at what God had done, and pain at the rejection from man. We try to be as brave as we can, but we all know, rejection hurts. But there is One who understands this pain. I wonder when He walked with the cross on His back, was His heart torn between the two emotions also, overjoyed knowing, yes this is what the Father wants, but also in pain as rejection spit at His face. What we experience is new to us but He has already experienced it, and that’s why He can understand. Ten months later on that day, my husband and I looked at each other and knew all the pain, all the tears, all the rejection was worth it all! There are days the pain doesn’t make sense. Then the day arrives when the tears of pain become tears of joy. I declare over you that day is coming soon! Hold on till then! “He has made everything beautiful in its time” Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV...

Prophecy for 2014: The Year of Supernatural Accomplishment

Prophecy for 2014: The Year of Supernatural Accomplishment

If the things you expected haven’t happened and you have remained stagnant last year, read on, for 2014 is going to be a year of Supernatural accomplishment! Life is all about choices and shifting gears at the right time. There are times you need to pull back, refocus and step out again. What you could not do on your own; God will do because He is God! This is the time to move from the natural to the supernatural! While many of us focus on the donkey that carried Jesus, the real point is this: the Creator who formed that donkey is the same who appointed that one-day that donkey would carry Him. It is God who called that donkey at that specific appointed time-the kairos of God. I am certain that this year some unused donkeys are about to be called and used, and that too supernaturally. Get ready your appointed time; the ‘kairos’ of God is coming. Stop looking back and look ahead for what you are about to see is unlike anything you have ever seen. The one who is on the throne is getting ready with your kairos- your set appointed time for your manifestation into the supernatural things of God. The rod of authority is being stretched forth, and the dams are breaking over your spiritual drought. You have waited through pains and strains but now the delivery is coming. It going to be a new phase, a new outlook, and a new walk. Everything will change. But adaption for the things of God is required. Not many are used to the supernatural so we need to begin to expect it, talk about it, and pursue it, for we need to accustom our gears to shift to the supernatural. Training is the key. The spiritual drought in our country will be quenched, by an army of young Jesus lovers rising in 2014! Your failures will be transformed to victory this 2014 in Jesus name! Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee; And light shall shine upon thy ways Job 22:28 To understand your transition from 2013 to 2014-the year of accomplishment, watch the video below and receive a word from God.  ...

Soaking in Myrrh

Soaking in Myrrh

Her time of preparation took one year. And I read about it in less than a second. Then I stopped and realized what I had just read. Being queen didn’t look so appealing to me. Yes, having hired hands every second of the day and the best wardrobe in the known world is a little tempting to any girl. But count in the days and years of loneliness and the prospect of being just an object of satisfaction and I’m sure Esther felt the same, as I did, no thanks! For one year she was separated from everyone she loved. She found herself, just her and God. I wonder if she questioned God, I wonder if she felt like getting up and getting out. I wonder if at any point did she realize what God was preparing her for. Our time of preparation is the hardest time one can go through. Like in baking we are kneaded, we are stretched, we are pulled, until, until that time we reach just the right consistency. And then don’t forget the hot oven. Baking is never complete without the hot oven. But once the finished product comes out, all the work and pain become worth it. So today I want to encourage you, don’t give up during your preparation time. Don’t give in. It is for a purpose. Your are being skill fully crafted by the Master craftsman. He knows what He is doing. He is teaching you to walk with Him.
Then only will you be ready to walk for Him. Know this, after the bitter waters of myrrh you will shine for His glory! “-after being twelve months under the regulations for the women, since this was the regular period of their beautifying, six months with oil of myrrh and six months with spices and ointments for women” (Esther...
